Halo Creative Design, the owner of multiple luxury furniture and lifestyle brands, is steadily expanding its UK retail portfolio. In 2021, our team actioned the fit-out of its new Timothy Oulton store on Broadgate above Liverpool Street Tube station in London, and has since delivered two further Timothy Oulton retail units in Tottenham Court Road and Liverpool and a Sofa Workshop store in Thurrock, Essex. With Halo Creative keen to create standout stores which feature an eclectic mix of furniture, lighting, home décor and accessories, our team has prioritised delivering bespoke design elements that entice its high-end clientele.

The exceptional design plans for Timothy Oulton’s store in Broadgate showcase this and include 850 bowler hats on its fascia, 6,000 books to clad two columns and a canoe suspended from the ceiling. In addition, our team used its expertise in complex projects to incorporate further bespoke elements, such as 65 chandeliers hung from a structural grid, a two-tonne Apollo space pod and collectables such as swords, golf clubs and vintage helmets. The single-storey, double-height store covered 250m2 and was delivered in seven weeks. When logistical challenges arose, our team adapted to navigate them. Careful planning ensured the week-long process of transporting materials and products from a logistics centre to Broadgate caused no delays. And when noisy working restrictions imposed by neighbours threatened to hinder the project, we solved the issue by gaining permission to work until midnight for the final main product fit-out.

Eight months of planning, and a very busy 10-day installation, working with the talented team of Laurence Hill and Joe Pearson to bring it all to life. Huge thank you for making it happen, it couldn’t have happened without you.”
