Sustainability
We commit to sustainable fit-out practices, using eco-friendly materials, minimising our carbon footprint and aiming for zero landfill waste.
Our Commitment to Sustainable Fit-Out Practices
Our ISO14001:2015 accreditation underscores our dedication to continuously improving our environmental processes. A key benefit of our integrated approach is our ability to influence the sustainability of the interiors we fit out. We consider the environmental impact of our work, design with the EPC rating of the building in mind, and specify sustainable products such as Paperstone solid surfaces, Kvadrat fabrics, and Tarkett flooring. Our in-house joinery workshop exclusively uses legally sourced, FSC®-certified timber, and our finishing processes prioritise indoor air quality, using water-based lacquer whenever feasible.
In our pursuit of greener practices, we minimise our carbon footprint by consolidating deliveries and favouring virtual meetings. We also engage in upcycling projects for both customers and ourselves. We use only energy-efficient LED lighting in our office and work closely with Thanet Waste to ensure we achieve zero waste going to landfill. Additionally, we are transitioning our company vehicles to electric models and are actively investigating further sustainable initiatives, such as the installation of solar panels on our workshop roof to harness renewable energy, alongside the use of alternative fuels such as bio-diesel.
