The Accounts Assistant role has exciting prospects to evolve for the right candidate as our businesses grow and our products expand.
Core deliverables of the role.
- Purchase Ledger: Processing invoices, reconciling monthly statements, making payments and maintaining accurate supplier accounts
- Sales Ledger: Raising applications, certs and invoices in a timely manner, chasing monies due and maintaining customer accounts
- Subcontractor Ledger: Processing orders and variations, making payments and maintaining accurate subcontractor accounts
- Bank and Account Reconciliations: Perform regular (daily/monthly) reconciliations of all bank accounts, credit cards, and control accounts to ensure accuracy and spot discrepancies
- Fixed Asset Register maintenance, additions and depreciation run
- Close and reconciliation on month end ledgers
Other Role responsibilities.
- Support with Payroll
- Provide information to assist with annual audits
- To carry out any reasonable duties as assigned by line management, ad hoc finance tasks and departmental projects as required. Supporting group company transactions as required on the above.
